Gencovery was born from a strong conviction: scientific data is a treasure too often left unused because it is inaccessible. In 2019, after a family member was hospitalised with cancer, Adama realised that access to patient data was a major health issue. He imagined a platform that could reconnect, free and democratise access to this data in service of research, innovation and services.
With Wassim, a long-time friend, Adama co-founded Gencovery. Since 2019, we have been building a sovereign, ethical and open digital infrastructure to help scientists and institutions unlock the full potential of their data.
